At a SOUP event, attendees hear from up to four pitches ranging from start, bikes, urban agriculture, social justice, social entrepreneurship, education, and more. Each presenter has four minutes to share their idea and answer four questions from the audience. At the event, attendees eat, talk, share resources, enjoy art and vote on the project they think benefits the city the most. At the end of the night, we count the ballots and the winner goes home with all of the money raised to carry out their project. Winners come back to a future SOUP dinner to report their project’s progress.

$5 gets you soup, bread and a vote.

At each SOUP dinner there are four presentations on projects ranging from art, urban agriculture, social justice, social entrepreneurs, education, technology and more.

Each presenter has 4 minutes to share their idea.

Audience members can ask each presenter up to 4 questions after their presentation.

Audience members are encouraged to discuss/debate before voting.

Audience members then vote on what project they think benefits La Crosse or their neighborhood the most.

The presenter with the most votes wins all the money collected at the door!
